Affiliate Program now live!

(December 6, 2013) - Are you a part of a community surf group or water-related non-profit? SurfivalGear is working proudly to be a part of the community. Local and world-wide. As part of our efforts, we are exploring affiliate programs where a portion of each SurfivalKit sale goes to helping these organizations. Goals such as the environment, youth, health, and overall stoke-in-the-water truly inspire us. As do groups of surfers who get together to enjoy the waves.

SurfivalGear makes appearance at 2nd Annual Mustache Paddle

(November 16, 2013) - Winning paddlers and raffle winners took home various donated prize packages from local water related businesses, including SurfivalGear, this past weekend. The fun paddling event in San Diego gave all proceeds to "Heroes on the Water" and "Balboa Warrior Athlete Program". It was put on by OEX Dive and Kayak Center and OEX Point Loma. Outrigger canoes, surf-skis, kayaks, SUPs and prone paddle-boarders, all wore mustaches (home-grown or stickered) as part of the fun, in honor of the month of Movember for men's health.

SurfivalGear Supports Rell Sunn Education Fund

(October 27th, 2013) - The SurfivalKit was one of many donated prizes for a very worthy cause. Benefitting the Rell Sunn Education Fund (RSEF) in memory of the amazing pro surfer Rell Sunn from Hawaii, this event had a movie screening about the inspirational life of the famed surfer, lifeguard, and all around epic waterwoman who battled breast cancer. Put on in part by Kapolioka'ehukai Outrigger Canoe Club, a branch of RSEF, the event featured Hawaiian music, hula performances, the movie screening, food, and raffle drawings. This SurfivalKit found a happy home!

SurfivalKit Supports "Wave Goodbye to MS Paddle for a Cure" Event

(October 5th, 2013) - Nothing unites surfers like a common cause of battling a dibilitating disease like MS. SurfivalKit was honored to support and have a booth at the First Annual event. The paddle was open to any and all forms of human powered paddle forms, Surfboards, SUP, Boogie Boards, Canoes, Swimmers with the goal of creating the largest human chain around the pier. Live music on the beach, guest speakers, guest paddlers including Robert “Wingnut” Weaver and Kiptyn Locke (From the Bachelor) made the event a success.

(October 3, 2013) - SurfivalKit was featured recently as a solution for new and experienced surfers in local San Diego newspapers and respective websites. The article talks about the SurfivalKit's origins, and how the owner's "...intent in creating a surf business was to 'build a community and movement of those who have learned the important elements of having a fun session whether you are new, a pro, a grom, an old-timer or a guy or girl.'".
